The next meeting of the Falcon Lions Club is March 27 at the Latigo Equestrian Center.Amy Springer, executive director of Kidsí Sight, spoke at the Feb. 27 Lionís meeting, demonstrating the machines used to test children age 1 to 5 years. Assisting the program is a major focus of the Lionís Club, according to a news release. Board member Ned Lewis is writing grants for Kidsí Sight and Kids Spree programs.Club President Joe Boehringer also announced four membership drives planned for this year: Falcon Days, the El Paso County Fair, Community Night and a Falcon Club Social.Sam Leffler is second vice president, responsible for all fundraising activities. Third vice president Roger Condie heads up the service-related activities.
