The Falcon Lions Club celebrated their first year anniversary with dinner and dancing at the Officer’s Club at Peterson Air Force Base. Attendees included members, visitors from other Lions Clubs and community members.Each club designs a trading pin for its membership and the international community. The membership chose a Falcon and the International Lions insignia combination for their pin with the slogan, “Starting a New Tradition.” The pins are expected to arrive the middle of March.Falcon Lions Club will participate in the Falcon Festival at Big R this year with their famous home-style cooking including breakfast and a roast pig feast.March 28 and 29 is Lions Club District 6/SE Convention hosted by Calhan Lions Club and Falcon Lions Club at the Crowne Plaza in Colorado Springs. The convention will include the presentation of 200 international flags from all the countries within Lions Club International, challenging breakout sessions, international keynote speakers and entertainment.
