In August, the Lion’s Club will start the kids’ sight screening program for all preschoolers in Falcon. District 49 and home schooled preschoolers will be targeted. The Lion’s Club goal is to uncover potential sight issues before they become major problems.The Falcon Lion’s Club in conjunction with the Calhan Lion’s Club will be selling environmentally friendly light bulbs during the El Paso County Fair.The general membership meeting of the Falcon Lion’s Club is held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Latigo Trails Equestrian Center, 13710 Halleluiah Trail, in Falcon (719-495-0176). Dinner is served so reservations are required.Business meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at The State Bank.
