The final plat for Falcon Highlands 3, one-half mile south of Woodmen Road, west of the proposed Meridian Road and north of the old Tamlin Road, was approved by the planning commission Sept. 19.Carl Schueler, El Paso County planning division manager, introduced a letter of concern written by Jim Ozburn, owner of Falcon Food Store. Ozburn’s concerns involved Tamlin Road access to his property and access to the road in general for Falcon residents.Schueler said the triangular piece that provides access from Ozburn’s property to the town of Falcon will remain intact. Other existing connections from Tamlin Road will be replaced by different roads, he said. (Stay tuned for more on Tamlin Road and other road developments in the November NFH.)
