The Colorado Springs North Metro League consists of five high schools that compete at the 4A and 3A level. Falcon High School, Sierra, Mitchell, Sand Creek and Elizabeth compete at the 4A level while The Classical Academy is classified as†3A.Brandon Stegman is in his third year as Falcon High Schoolís baseball coach.†The Falcons were conference champions in 2021. Going 12-1 the regular season and 6-0 in conference.†Although they lost some talented seniors, five starters are returning, and Falcon looks to repeat as champions in 2022.†Isaiah Sadorus, a sophomore, will fill the No. 1 spot on the mound, followed by David Ada, a freshman and Nico Petrocelli, a junior.†The offense will rely on seniors Mason Hamlin, Zach Howe, Zach Mcculloch and Nolan Adamski.† There will be many opportunities for younger guys to be able to step in and contribute.The first game is scheduled for March 10 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, when Falcon High School takes on Las Cruces Centennial High School. †The NFH will follow along with the team and report on their games when they begin this spring.
