Frank Patton has a knack for knowing where to open a bar and restaurant. When he first opened Frankie’s on Powers and Galley 20-plus years ago, the venture turned into a goldmine. There wasn’t another watering hole for miles around. Fast forward to Falcon in 2004, and it’s the same scenario. Falconites are enjoying libations and hooking up with old friends and meeting new at Frankie’s Too grand opening on Sept. 25.Farmer Jim’s owners Ammie and Shannon Vincent have been feeding eastern plains pets and livestock for 15 years. While many flock to the feed store for their dogs, cats, horses, and you name it, they can feed it; others coome for the unique novelties, like soaps, candles, cards and video tapes.Regardless of their shopping desires, loyal customers gathered for the Vincents’ “celebrate customers” day on Oct. 7.
