Falcon Fire Protection District has responded to 253 calls since the first of the year. The majority of them – 202 – were emergency medical calls, including car and home accidents and injuries. The average response time is 7 minutes, with the longest time at 18 minutes. For the month of March, the department has responded to the following:
- 6 fire related
- 28 EMS calls
- 1 Hazardous condition
- 2 service calls (such as getting locked out of a vehicle)
- 1 good intent (department responded but wasn’t needed)
- 4 False alarms
- 5 mutual aid calls
