It promises to be bigger and better, and minus the mid-afternoon wind and rain. It’s the Falcon Festival – a gathering of Falcon and area businesses and nonprofit organizations. This is the fourth festival, and each year there is more to see and do. It’s a super opportunity to learn about your community and meet your neighbors. This year, the festival is Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain date is June 11). The event will take place again this year in the parking lot adjacent to Big R, off Highway 24.Booth reservations are being accepted now, so don’t wait too long to get your spot. The cost for a booth is $60; for Falcon Professional Development League members, the cost is just $45.Festivities include hourly give-a-ways, entertainment, local bands, a DJ and plenty of food vendors.Mark your calendars for this special Falcon event – it’s a summer highlight. For more information on booth reservations, contact Don Root at 495-3650.
