Falcon Exchange Club delivers gifts

The Falcon Exchange Club’s Child Abuse Prevention Committee helped brighten the lives of a few local children for the second year in a row last Christmas. On Dec. 21, members of the CAP committee delivered donations to the Children’s Ark, a nonprofit, licensed residential child care facility. Exchange Club members Ursula Miller, Bob Miller, Kristin Phillips, Sheila Enos and Mary Lou Crabill delivered about 30 dozen homemade cookies, 90 pairs of sleep pants and 38 pairs of socks. Carmer Adams, cold drink district sales manager for Coca-Cola Bottling Co. donated eight cases of Coca-Cola products.Jean and Eric West founded The Children’s Ark facility in Green Mountain Falls, Colo. The facility provides residential treatment for troubled children between the age of 10 and 18.
