In June, Deanna Patrick, owner of A Flair for Hair, will participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Denver. The walk covers 39 miles in two days.Patrick is committed to walking in support of the more than 200,000 women in the U.S. who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year and in memory of the 40,000 women who will die from the disease.She needs to raise a minimum of $1,800, hoping to exceed that amount and raise $3,000 in the community.Patrick is asking businesses and individuals to support her in this event through various planned fundraisers, such as a raffle, a silent auction, bake sales and a car wash.
