The Falcon Book Club meets the fourth Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Woodmen Hills Recreation Center West, 11720 Woodmen Hills Drive. On Nov. 20 the club will discuss “Freedom Writers” by Erin Gruwell, with Zlata Filipovic. Dec. 18 the club will discuss “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch. New readers are welcome and are not required to register in advance of the meetings.
