The next meeting of the Falcon Book Club is Dec. 11. The Dec. 11 meeting, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the High Prairie Library at 7035 Meridian Road in Falcon, is also the holiday party. The book up for discussion is ìThe Alice Networkî by Kate Quinn. After WW II, a college girl is pregnant and goes to London to see her cousin. She meets Eve, who is an alcoholic and was a captured spy. They develop an unlikely friendship. Please bring a gently used wrapped book for the book exchange. Everyone will draw numbers to choose the book. For the holiday party, weíll have refreshments. Bring whatever you choose to share. A sign-up sheet will be sent so we donít end up with all chocolate desserts.
