The next meeting of the Falcon Book Club is Dec. 11, since the fourth Tuesdays in November and December occur during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Dec. 11 meeting, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the High Prairie Library at 7035 Meridian Road in Falcon, is also the holiday party. The book up for discussion is ìThe Alice Networkî by Kate Quinn. After WW II, a college girl is pregnant and goes to London to see her cousin. She meets Eve, who is an alcoholic and was a captured spy. They develop an unlikely friendship. Please bring a gently used wrapped book for the book exchange. Everyone will draw numbers to choose the book. For the holiday party, weíll have refreshments. Bring whatever you choose to share. A sign-up sheet will be sent so we donít end up with all chocolate desserts.
