Chris Wood is not only a native Coloradan, he is also a native of the Falcon/Peyton area, and graduated from Peyton High School. Wood lives in Meridian Ranch and has recently moved the agency he started in 2005, Pikes Peak Insurance Agency, from Colorado Springs to Falcon. Wood and his family are all in for supporting the area he knows best.If that isnít enough support for the area, all of the agencyís employees who work in the office also live in Falcon.Wood has been in the insurance business since 2002.Pikes Peak Insurance Agency is located in The State Bank; they specialize in auto, home, life and commercial insurance and currently have more than 2,000 clients.Wood and his wife, Shannon, have four children. Brian is 27 and lives in Michigan with his wife; 19-year-old Bailee just graduated from veterinary assistant school and is working at For Paws in Falcon; Kilee Jo, age 17, attends Falcon High School and hopes to get a college scholarship for basketball; and 13-year-old Jaxon attends Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning.Shannon is also a native, and she and Chris met in fourth grade at Peyton School. Shannon works at Palmer Chiropractic, and manages the household, which also includes five dogs.Besides owning an insurance agency and spending time with family, Wood is the head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach for the FHS girls basketball team.Wood said he is happy to be living and now working in Falcon as well.
