Shayna Swanson was honored with the Exchange Club of Falcon February Youth of the Month award at the Feb. 3 meeting. Shayna ranks 34th in a class of 257 students and holds a 3.717 GPA. Her goal is to become a doctor of veterinary medicine and to work in research to develop prosthesis for horses and a cure for cancers that afflict animals as well as people. Shayna is a member of the National Honor Society and National High School Scholars. In school, she participates in cross country, swimming, track, marching band squad, band, ensemble and choir. She is involved in her church youth group, Therapeutic Riding Center and is a YMCA counselor in training and a swimming coach.
