Since April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the club donated eight bags full of clothing for girls and boys of all ages, as well as one car seat and one booster seat. When a traumatic situation occurs, children must be transported to a safe location, sometimes in the middle of the night with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. Since these items must be retained for evidence, the Victim Assistance Program is grateful to have new clothing on hand and a proper car seat for the children involved. Ursula Miller, chairwoman of the Child Abuse Prevention Committee, works tirelessly with her committee to shop for this new clothing and other items.Connect with the Exchange Club of Falcon to be part of something big like this organization. Call Bob Miller 719-641-0752 for more information.
