The Exchange Club of Falcon is the first all volunteer, nonprofit community service organization in Falcon. The Exchange Club of Falcon has reached its initial goal of 20 members with the addition of Ronald Stark. This milestone allowed the members to solicit formal recognition from the National Exchange headquarters.On Nov. 20, Carolyn Geisert, member of the Exchange Club of Greely and a division director in the Rocky Mountain District of Exchange, formally validated the Falcon club. Also present was Susan McAfee Aker, president of the Exchange Club of Colorado Springs, the Falcon club’s sponsor.Although the Falcon Club was just officially established, members have been active for awhile.The Exchange Club distributed flyers encouraging people to vote in the recent elections. The Falcon Club, in partnership with the Colorado Springs Club, installed and dedicated a FREEDOM SHRINE in the Falcon Middle School Nov. 9.Future projects will involve youth, Americanism, community service and preventing child abuse. The Falcon Exchange Club will continue to grow and undertake more projects to improve the quality of life in Falcon.
