The Children’s ARK is not a vessel but a residential treatment facility and home to as many as 70 boys and girls ages 10 to 18. The ARK in Green Mountain Falls focuses on treating those suffering from abuse and neglect, as well as emotional issues. Each year, the Exchange Club of Falcon brings a home barbeque to the residents. This year, the club joined with the Knights of Columbus of Falcon to purchase two new grills for the ARK. On a Saturday in July, the Exchange Club brought the grills along with lots of food to cook for the residents. For more information about the Exchange club, call Bob Miller at 719-641-0752 or Wally Reeder at 685-5566.
