Two miles of Falcon Highway have been adopted by the Exchange Club of Falcon for the past five years under the El Paso County Adopt-A-Road program. In January, club members donned orange vests and walked the stretch from Old Meridian Road to Good Fortune Road. In pairs, they each carried county-supplied orange plastic bags, picking up litter that motorists had tossed along the road. Leonore Misner, the clubís community service chairwoman, said, ìItís not a fun job but thanks to the dedication of our membership we collected 18 bags of stuff. Thanks, all.îAnyone interested in the Exchange Club can contact Bob Miller at 719-641-0752.
