Everybody’s Business Christmas party

Submitted by Phyllis Didleau

Four women stand in front of shelves with bins, surrounded by colorful gift bags and tissue paper in a storage room.

At our Christmas party this year, the theme was “Happy Birthday, Jesus.” We put a new twist on the white elephant gift-giving tradition. Instead of the usual White Elephant exchange (who needs more “stuff”?), we decided to wrap a baby gift with a gift for Mommie, too. We called it “Mommie and Me” and donated the gifts to Life Network in Falcon. How better to honor the birth of the Baby Jesus? Thank you to the participating businesses: Dandelion Floral, Avon, Golden Rule Masterpieces, Cindy Sue’s Sewing, Energized Health, Equisite Nails, Watkins, Blessed Designs, Mary’s AirBnB, Amway and Mary Kay.

Everybody’s Business is open to business owners and those professionals in the business world who want to build business relationships. For more information, call 719-440-1949.

Members of Everybody’s Business provided gifts for babies and mothers in lieu of gifts for the members at their Christmas party this year. They donated the gifts to Life Network in Falcon: from left to right: Catherine Reyes, staff member at Life Network; and Denice Butts, Kelsy White and Phyllis Didleau — members of Everybody’s Business.
