Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bordwine of Melbourne, Fla., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany R. Bordwine, to Timothy M. McCarthy of Falcon, Colo. Tim is the son of Kathryn McCarthy of Falcon, Donald McCarthy of Tulsa, Okla., and step-dad, Patrick Kellogg of Falcon.Brittany attends Eau Gallie High School in Florida and plans to pursue nursing school.Tim graduated from Falcon High School in 2005, and is studying sociology and criminology at Colorado State University – Pueblo. Tim hopes to work with the Drug Enforcement Agency in Florida after he graduates from college. He is currently employed at the Peterson Air Force Base commissary.The two are planning a long engagement, looking forward to a June 2009 wedding.
