Plans for the development of the Ellicott Town Center north of Highway 94 include 1,000 homes on 319 acres, 32 acres of commercial properties, 11 acres for schools and 110 acres of open space, parks and miles of trails.The residential project, which could begin as early as this fall, includes single family homes, one-acre estate-type lots and eventually town homes. The Sunset Metropolitan District will supply water and sewer, and manage a community recreation center and swimming pool.The El Paso County Board of County Commissioners has approved the development.Accretive Investments is the company behind the project.
