The Elizabeth Celtic Festival will be held in Casey Jones Park July 21 and July 22. Help celebrate Celtic culture and the Elizabeth area community. There will be plentiful Scottish and Irish merchants, clans, artisans and food vendors. Have a pint at the Saucy Wench Pub.Local bands Skean Dubh, Ceol Ceili, Gobs Oí Phun, Old School Ceili Band, The Commoners and Mulligan Stew will provide the music. Solo musicians Star Edwards; harpist, Gary Burman and Eric Olson, Uillean pipers will appear as well. The Childrenís Glen will feature storyteller Terri Rasmussen and tons of games for the kids. Several historical reenactment groups will have displays and perform. An entire Gypsy encampment complete with antique wagons, Irish Cobb horses and shire horses will be featured as well, along with sanctioned Scottish athletic competitions.
