Election judges at Falcon Fire Station 1 were kept busy during last month’s election as residents turned out in record numbers. Election results: Ballot Issue A – a request for funds for the construction of two new fire stations was defeated by a 668 to 481 vote.Ballot Issue B – a request for funds to finance staffing the new facilities also went down to defeat in a 688 to 450 vote.Elected board members: Richard Martin (364 votes) and Kerry Smith (358 votes) won their bids for a four-year term on the Falcon fire board. The race for the two-year term seat was extremely close with Dan Kupferer (428 votes) winning over his opponent by a mere four votes.
