Ride across the prairie, not down dirt roads!The wagon train trail ride is scheduled for July 7 and July 8, with registration at 7:30 a.m. on July 7 and registration on July 8 at 7 a.m. Participants will depart Bailey Ranch at 10 a.m. Lunch (bring a sack lunch) will take place near Big Sandy Creek, from noon to 1 p.m. The ìtrainî will return to Bailey Ranch at 3 p.m., followed by a barbecue dinner at 5 p.m. Music and entertainment will follow dinner. Country and cowboy singer Kurt Corsair will be featured; and the Bailey Saddleland Museum will be open.On July 8, registration begins at 7 a.m., along with a pancake breakfast; church service at 7:30 a.m. The wagon train will depart Ramah Dam at 10 a.m.; lunch (lunch is provided by Good Luck Samís) will be north of Calhan; the return to Ramah Dam is 3 p.m.Costs: The Saturday ride with dinner is $25. The Sunday ride only, with breakfast and lunch, is $25. Both days with all included is $40.
