Falcon was not lacking for Easter-related events for those who were tough enough to brave the cold temperatures. Woodmen Hills held its annual Easter Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter. The lines were out the door of the Woodmen Hills Community Center as kids of all ages gathered to have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny, before heading outside for the egg hunt.A dusting of snow and cold temperatures continued on Easter Sunday for the Falcon Fire District’s annual pancake breakfast. Firefighters served up a hot breakfast to an estimated 200 participants and raised $2,014 in cash donations. In addition to the traditional pancakes, the kids participated in several egg hunts and also visited with the Easter Bunny, who arrived by Memorial Hospital’s Flight for Life helicopter.
