A Best Ball Golf Tournament will be held at Antlers Creek Golf Course Tuesday, June 9. This is an opportunity for businesses to participate by sponsoring a hole, advertizing on the tee box, or supplying gifts or awards for the event. Golfers will be treated to an award luncheon following the tournament.The Falcon Festival will be held Saturday, June 20, at the Patriot learning Center football field. Booths, attractions and entertainment will be part of the event. The festival provides a platform for creating community awareness for local business, groups, charities and clubs. The event will be a full day of food, fun and entertainment for the entire family. There will be antique car displays and other attraction such as an agility dog demonstration, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department K-9 demonstration, precision gun and Krav Maga demonstrations, followed by the country band Southern Junction featuring Jody Adams and Rob Nordeman, in concert from 1 to 4 p.m. For more information, visit the chamber Web site at www.easterplainschamber.org.
