Thank you all who joined us Aug. 2 at our monthly meeting at Grace Community Church. This meeting began with networking over breakfast. The State Bank of Falcon was our breakfast sponsor and shared with us the 130-year history of the bank and the full-service, modern banking offered to the families and businesses of Colorado.
Our president, Michael Lordino, called us to order. Our morning presentation came from Darlene Wolford of the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. She demonstrated to us in
her presentation the myriad ways that the Work Force can benefit local businesses. Much of her presentation focused on what she can do for employers and job seekers. Local firms can also benefit from the federal money available to reimburse them for training and development. Please contact Darlene Wolford for information on this and other programs available to develop your business.
