Maybe fill your car up with gas once or buy a full sack of groceries.Or, you could help a child begin a journey to realize their dream of becoming a pilot.The Aviation Education Foundation of Colorado Inc. is conducting its second Aviation Summer Flight Academy at Meadow Lake Airport in Falcon June 21 through 30. This program, funded solely by donations, is FREE.This year’s candidates, from Falcon School District 49, Colorado Springs School District 11 and others, were selected on May 15. Candidates were selected on the merit of their submitted applications and essays.AEFCO is seeking donations to help candidates reach their goal of becoming a pilot.Your donation will help provide daily flight training with a certified flight instructor or demonstration flights in a private aircraft provided by members of EAA Chapter 72.
