Dollar Tree is tentatively scheduled to open in Falcon March 28 at the Shops at Woodmen Hills at 7376 McLaughlin Road.Dollar Tree stores are not franchises; they have been publicly traded since 1995, said Shelly Davis, public relations officer. The stores are in all 48 contiguous states as well as Canada, she said. ìIn Canada, prices are $1.25,î Davis added.ìThe store is pleased to come to Falcon. We like to be anywhere Middle America is.îThe Falcon store is about 8,000 square feet, and Davis said the store will hire about 12 to 15 part-time employees. She said opening festivities will include live music, raffles and general family fun.
