Congratulations to the High Plains Little League 9-10 (ages) and 11-12 softball teams for being the Colorado District 5 champions. The teams played in the state tournament July 17 and July 18.ìUnfortunately, both the 9-10s and the 11-12 lost in the state tournaments,î said Scot Raffelson, president of High Plains Little League. ìThey never gave up but just got out hit by the competitors.î There is always next year!
