The Falcon School District will be featuring the annual music festival. With the influx of new homes and businesses is an increase in student population, and music teachers in the Falcon District will no longer have to participate in music festival events outside of the district. There will be two festivals – one for all elementary choir students on May 3 at Woodmen Hills at 9:30 a.m. and on May 6 at 9 a.m. at the middle school. High school bands and choirs will be performing at Sand Creek High School.Students performing at SCHS will also be adjudicated as well as participate in different music clinics held by local professional clinicians. The music festival is open to the public. This is a great way to observe and hear the excellence of our students and see what the future holds. Who knows, there might be another Carnegie Hall group in the making! For more information, Mrs. Karen Crockett at Woodmen Hills Elementary 495-5600; Mrs. Mary Gohl or Mr. John Epps at Skyview Middle School 638-2736.
