Curves is offering 50 percent off service fees and donating $25 to a District 49 school of choice for those purchasing Curves memberships during the months of June and July. The money received from this fundraiser will go directly to student services such as purchasing books, educational tools and helping finance science projects.Two Curves locations are participating in this fundraiser: 7663 McLaughlin Road in Falcon and 5719 Constitution Ave. in Colorado Springs.Curves wishes to make a positive impact in communities in which they are located, as well as around the globe. Nationally, Curves collected 7 million lbs. of food for local food banks this year. They also are financing trips for doctors to Haiti, and will soon kick off the 2010 American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life season with the goal to raise more than $1.1 million at relay events throughout the country.
