Colorado State University Extension is presenting the High Tunnel and Greenhouse Workshop, which will teach participants how to grow vegetables in a greenhouse-like environment. Attendees will learn the options for structures, design, cost and management of greenhouse-like structures. How to manage diseases and pests, as well as beneficial insects in a greenhouse will be covered. Participants will also get to hear a farmerís perspective on growing in a high tunnel year round.The date is Friday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 17 N. Spruce Street in Colorado Springs.
