We published an interview with Ken Barela, Democratic candidate for House District 19, last month. We mistakenly (or a Freudian slip?) said that Barela was the former mayor of Falcon. Barela is the former mayor of Fountain.As the mayor of Fountain, Barela instrumented the widening of Highway 85 and 85 (not Highway 115, as we stated).And there was a bit of confusion about an Amendment 23 reference in the article, which was taken from Barela’s Web site. There is no Amendment 23.
