In November’s Face to Face with Louise Solberg, we incorrectly stated that Amo School was located on Jones Road. In the early 1900s, Flinn School, originally located on Jones Road, was moved to the east side of Slocum Road and its name was changed to Amo School. One mile south of the school on the west side of Slocum Road was the Amo Creamery and the Amo Post Office.In December’s “Shopping Falcon for the holidays” article, Mane Salon’s nail polish that was listed was referred to as ION, and the correct name is OPI. Also, the majority of products at Mane Salon are Aquage and Matrix.
