Library districtIn the previous two issues of the NFH, we reported – based on conversations with School District 49 officials – that the Pikes Peak Library District would be temporarily housed at the old Falcon Middle School, which will become a community/education center when the new high school opens in October. However, a representative from the library district called to inform us that the PPLD has no plans to move into the community center.FAIR date changeThe Falcon Area Issues Roundtable meeting originally was scheduled Sept. 15; however, the date was changed to Sept. 22, so we hope that no one showed up at the Falcon Fire Protection District station Sept. 15. Anyway, mark your calendars for Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. at the FFPD station. See “Community Calendar” as well. Kathy Hare, president of the Upper Black Squirrel Groundwater Basin, is the featured speaker.
