Rep. Doug LambornIn the June 2 issue, we ran a story about U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn’s Congressional Art Show. Mistakenly, we referenced the congressman as Sen. Lamborn, a former title of his. The editor was at fault on this one. Writer Becky Weis turned in the story citing Congressman Doug Lamborn. The Associated Press correct style is Rep. Lamborn or U.S. Rep. Lamborn. This editor goofed and used Sen. Lamborn. Sorry!Valedictorian and salutatorianWe were so proud to have all of our graduating seniors listed in the June 2 issue. However, we weren’t so proud that somehow both the salutatorian and valedictorian pictures were identified as Moriah Gerrish. We are re-running them in this issue – identified correctly. Again, we’re sorry.
