In September’s NFH, we incorrectly identified the person in this picture as Ron Moser from Peyton. See below for the correct information.
This truck, designed and carved by Jim Moser of Falcon, won first place, grand champion in the senior’s wood-crafting division at the El Paso County Fair. Moser, who is a retired trucker, patterned the truck after the last one he drove. Made of various types of wood, the truck took Moser almost eight months to make. During that time, he worked on it more than four hours a day.
