The city of Colorado Springs, in partnership with Pikes Peak Community College and the Pikes Peak Library District, is offering a free basic computer training program for all residents. The goal is to offer training, including Internet information, on a periodic basis for those who wish to access government information electronically. Training is provided Friday, June 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the fire department complex at 375 Printers Parkway; and Saturday, June 9, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the East Side Library at 5550 No. Union Blvd. To sign up, call 719-389-8968 or visit any of the Pikes Peak library branches.
