Falcon Book Club
The next meeting of the Falcon Book Club is the holiday get together, which combines the months of November and December. The club will meet Dec. 10 at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center auditorium (10301 Angeles Road) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The book of the month is historical fiction, “West with Giraffes“ by Lynda Rutledge. This is a potluck so please bring something to share with a dozen or more people. There will also be a book exchange, so please bring a gently used, wrapped book.

Free tutoring in reading
Children’s Literacy Center offers free one-to-one tutoring for children reading below grade level. Children are matched with trained volunteer tutors from the community, and meet twice a week for an hour each session. Equine education class
On the third Sunday of every month, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30, the Iron Horse Christian Youth Ranch will host an equine class on a variety of topics, with guest speakers. First Annual Murder Mystery Dinner (Save the date)
The Exchange Club will host its inaugural Murder Mystery Dinner at Stillwaters Ranch on Feb. 15, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature a dinner catered by the culinary department of Patriot High School, and Red Herring Productions in Colorado Springs will act out the murder mystery while each table tries to solve the murder. The venue holds only 80 people so watch for more details as the date gets closer. The Exchange Club currently seeking sponsors to help cover the costs and ensure a successful event.

All Falcon Senior Services are available to persons 55 years of age and over.
The Falcon seniors group meets at the Falcon Legacy Campus Patriot High School every month for a lunch social, which is prepared and served by the Patriot High School Culinary Arts and Hospitality students. The campus is located at 11990 Swingline Road. All seniors are invited to the annual Thanksgiving luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 11 a.m. Join the group for a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
