The grand opening of Falcon Regional Park will take place Saturday, June 11, starting at 12:30 p.m.A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the baseball fields, followed by a ceremonial ìfirst pitch.î High Plains Little League will have the honor of playing the first official baseball game in the park.The 215-acre Falcon Regional Park is located on Eastonville Road, just north of Falcon High School and Londonderry Drive. Phase 1 of park construction is nearing completion, with two baseball fields, a multi-purpose field, parking, an entry plaza and a walkway.When all phases are completed, the park will feature six baseball fields, four multipurpose fields, multi-purpose courts, pavilions, a playground, splash park, restrooms, dog park and trails.Falcon Regional Park is the sixth regional park in El Paso County.
