“Colorado’s most beautiful holiday tradition” – Seven Falls

Each year, the beautiful Seven Falls attraction in the west part of Colorado Springs – the farthest point west on Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard – features more than 200,000 lights, 30 special displays and a multi-colored waterfall during the holiday season. The event, which is in its 59th year, starts Dec. 16 and continues through Dec. 30 – closed Christmas Eve. This year, the proceeds will benefit Christmas Unlimited, a local charity providing assistance throughout the holidays to families in need.Santa Claus stops at Seven Falls each evening from 5:30 to 8 p.m. until Christmas Eve.The gates open at 5 p.m. and close at 9:30 p.m. People in line at that time are not turned away.The usual fee to visit Seven Falls is $6.50, but during this event, the fee is waived and visitors are asked to contribute $3 to Christmas Unlimited.For road conditions and directions, call 632-0752.
