The partnership among the Black Forest AARP chapter, the AARP Foundation ElderWatch Team, the Black Forest Fire and Rescue and Shred-It Colorado provided spectacular results May 22 in Black Forest. The Fight Fraud – Shred Instead event attracted about 300 people who brought outdated or no longer needed documents to be shredded safely by Shred-It Colorado. There was no cost for the shredding services.The program to fight fraud and identification theft is an ongoing program of the Black Forest AARP Chapter and one of several designed to create good in the community.AARP chapter membership is open to persons of all ages.
