Falcon chiropractors Stephen Kutscher and Mandi Miedema of Rock Solid Chiropractic are raising money to help aspiring health care providers. All new patient fees collected between February and May will be donated to a new scholarship fund for Falcon High School students.ìWe’re passionate about bringing health to as many people as possible,î Kutscher said. ìThis scholarship will be awarded to the students who we find most promising to influence the health of our community.î The scholarship funds will be given to a graduating senior from the Falcon High Academy of Health Sciences, Kutscher said. The office expects to be able to offer two scholarships of $1,000 each at the end of the school year. The academy program offers classes for each grade in high school to introduce students to health care fields. The academy partners with Pikes Peak Community College and the Caring for Colorado Foundation to provide Falcon students with targeted classes and extracurricular activities toward careers as nurses, first responders and doctors.
