The 23rd annual Chefs’ Gala and Silent Auction is being held Sunday, Feb. 24 at the Broadmoor’s Rocky Mountain Ballroom. The annual fundraiser benefits the Colorado Springs Chorale, a 130-voice adult auditioned volunteer chorus.Two dozen of the region’s finest chefs prepare cuisine for guests to sample while they compete in the categories of appetizers, entrees and desserts. “It is a wonderful culinary competition, resulting in a feast for all,” says Mark Dempsey, Colorado Springs Chorale’s executive director.The Colorado Springs Chorale is an independent nonprofit arts organization that holds season performances, benefit concerts and performances at hospice, hospitals and cancer centers.For more information or to purchase tickets for the chefs’ gala, visit www.cschorale.org.
