In 2026, we’ll celebrate two historic milestones, America’s 250th anniversary and Colorado’s 150th anniversary. Together, these moments invite us to reflect on our shared history, celebrate our communities, and look ahead to the future, united.
To honor these milestones, El Paso County is launching the Moments That Made Us campaign. Community members are invited to share photos and stories that capture the experiences, traditions, and milestones that shaped who they are today. From family memories and moments of service to personal achievements, every story helps tell the collective story of our County, our State, and our Nation.
Your submitted moments may be featured on social media and displayed as part of a community timeline during the El Paso County Fair. Help us celebrate how far we’ve come and inspire connection across generations.
