Amy Webb, a firefighter with the Falcon Fire Department and a certified safety technician, performs free car-seat safety checks by appointment. If anyone has questions about either installation or proper use of the car seat while a child is in it, Webb is available to answer questions. She prefers email contact, since the email messages will go directly to her.Car seat checks are also available through the Kohlís Cares Car Safety Program. Certified safety technicians are available at different locations throughout the Colorado Springs area on Wednesdays; the location is dependent on which Wednesday of the month.
