Aleut Management Services, parade coordinator for the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade, is accepting entries for the 66th Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade, which will be held Saturday, July 8, in downtown Colorado Springs starting at 10 a.m.The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Street Festival, at Tejon Street between Pikes Peak and Kiowa, will begin after the parade. The festival will include games and activities for children, like the Kiddie Dress Up Review, which begins at noon, and musical performances, including the The Flying W Wrangles.This year’s grand marshal is Lt. Gen. John F. Regni, superintendent of the U.S. Air Force Academy.To obtain an entry form, contact Brenda Carender at 719-262-7160. All entries must be submitted by June 2. Placement in the parade will be determined by the date the entry is received in the parade office.
