Stephen Halbrook of Calhan received an associate degree in baking and pastry arts from the College of Culinary Arts at the Johnson & Wales University Denver Campus. Scott Bernis, publisher of the Denver Business Journal, gave the keynote address and received an honorary doctor of business administration degree at the ceremony.Nationwide, a total of 8,700 undergraduate degrees, 498 graduate degrees and 17 honorary doctorate degrees were awarded to Johnson & Wales graduates. Johnson & Wales is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in business, food service, education, hospitality and technology.
